Here, lilbee explains to us/you/me how she came up with her name, genre and general flow:
_"As you all may know, my name is Baraka. My mother used to call me and still calls me 'B' in short for Baraka.When I started rapping I named myself Swagbear, I don't know why. But I eventually came to the conclusion to change my name to lilbee, instead of LilB. My "L" is not capital and its not B it's bee. I wanted it to be unique._
" I do a lot of genres. like I said before I don't have a current goal in my music taste but I'm trying to get into the R&B scene with more female artists. Usually I do new age rap and sometimes melodic rap. I've gotten a lot of feature requests from as the media call them "Luh twizzy" artists. I won't even lie . Their music is bad, I can see that they are trying to impersonate Jaykatana, k1llbrady and lilnosebleedd.etc
I don't like that. I think that an artist should find their own sound and not try to be like others in order to find your audience"
